Want To Play Online Casinos? Do It Smart!

Playing online casinos can be fun and exciting. You've probably seen the ads that entice you to join an online casino, play games, get lucky, and make money. Some of them seem too good to be true-and some of them are. But others are legitimate businesses where you could really win a jackpot-similar to the real casinos-only you could do so without ever leaving your home. Still, you really need to exercise extreme caution when joining an online casino, because there are some sites you need to avoid to ensure your money and private financial information is secure and to be sure you actually do have a real chance at a jackpot. Here are some things you should definitely avoid.
Online Casinos Without A Real History

Before you join any online casino, no matter much fun it looks, take the time to check out its history. First, find out when the site launched. You can do this for free by going to WHOIS.com. A simple search will tell you when the domain was initially registered. If it was less than a year ago, exercise caution and consider the next phase of research below. Then watch the site patiently to see what kinds of results other people who have already joined have with the site. Let them try it before you buy it.

Casinos of Ill Repute

Not all online casinos are of ill repute. In other words, some have a good reputation and others have a less positive reputation. You can research the online casino on the Internet to read what other users are saying about the site. If you see lots of negative comments on forums, keep reading. Are there any positives to offset the negatives? If the majority-or even a significant amount-of the feedback is not positive, avoid those sites to avoid getting ripped off.
Poor Quality Websites

How does the website look at first glance? Is the home page attractive? Do the layout and graphics work? Are there typos, spelling errors, or grammatical errors? If the site doesn't look professional and attractive, it may not be a professional site in other areas either. In fact, it could be a hastily patched together site to cover a scam. Read further to see if the services are comparable to other online casino sites. Compare them with other sites if necessary. If there's any doubt about the reliability of the site based on their website, keep looking for a more reputable online casino.
Money Required Up Front

Reputable online casinos don't require you to pay anything up front. In fact, they let you play the casino games online for free without spending a cent. Most provide a free trial offer-and some never require you to pay anything to play if you don't plan to bet real money and you're just playing for fun. So if an online casino requires you to enter financial information or pay up-front, keep looking for a quality online casino. The best sites provide risk-free trial offers because they want their customers to have fun.

Never rush into joining an online casino gambling without doing your homework. Once you enter your personal data and financial information into a site, you could be putting your information and your identity at risk. Do the research to ensure you're working with a reputable company with adequate security so you can play, have fun online, and not have to worry about getting scammed.

The Very Best Internet Casino Special Sign-Up Offers

by Simon M Skinner

You may have seen some of the ads and come-ons for major casinos that provide perks and bonuses to their high rolling guests. These can be pretty tempting, and they may have you salivating as you consider what you could do with the free plays, bonus chips and other extras. The only trouble is that the casinos are far away and can involve a lot more financial outlay than you have available at the moment. Okay, maybe a trip to Atlantic City, Las Vegas or Monte Carlo isn?t in the stars for you just yet. Don't worry, because you can still enjoy online gambling and take advantage of some of the best casino bonuses in the world.

Now that online casino is taking the industry by storm, they are offering their players wonderful bonuses. Each online gaming site is competing against one another to gain the most business. The bonus offers are designed to bring your attention to their site and to get your business before another online casino site does. Basically, it is almost like you are getting paid to gamble, which is not that bad of an idea.

Just look through the list of some of the more popular casino bonuses:

No Deposit Bonus-this is a true freebie deal and is exactly what it says, 'no deposit'. You are not required to deposit any kind of funds to try this bonus out on any games of your choosing.

Matching Bonus: This is where you will open an account, add some funds to your account and the casino will give you a matching bonus, dollar per dollar up to a predetermined amount. You could very well see your casino money double or even triple in size simply because of the bonus.

The Monthly Casino Bonus: This is an on-going bonus where casinos will give you a set amount of free money or free chips each money. This is their way of trying to make sure that you keep coming back to play on their site.

Percentage Bonuses- these are similar to the matching bonuses, but are calculated to an exact percentage of your deposit. For instance a 50% percentage bonus would let you receive $100 worth of free chips with a $200 deposit.

The Cash Back Bonuses: While many people desire these bonuses, they are a little bit on the hard side to find. With the cash back bonus you will be repaid any monies that you lose during a specific time of play.

Refer A Friend: The referral program will add chips or money into your account each time someone signs up as a referral from you. Since you referring the online casino to your friends help their business, they in turn help you a little.

Increase your Success Playing Blackjack

By Simon Skinner

If you've ever played Blackjack before, you probably have seen a person that wins more than seems normal. This is because that player knows the rules and strategies that twist the odds in his favor. Follow them and you'll see more success as well.

You can use specific guidelines for various situations in Blackjack that will allow you to have improved odds of winning. You can't guarantee a win in any one hand, but you can play statistically sound, so that you have a higher likelihood of winning over the long haul.

The first rule is of course it hit with nine or less. Following that, you should always double down with a 10 or an 11, unless the dealer is also showing a ten or an Ace.

If you're holding between 12 and 16 it's a little trickier, but you'll want to hit if the dealer has a seven or higher. If you have 17 or more, you should stand regardless of what the dealer has.

Different rules apply when you are holding an Ace, which gives you a soft hand. A soft 17 for example is an Ace and a six, which can be 17 or 7 depending on how you choose to play the Ace.

When you have between a soft 13 and a soft 18, you can afford to double down when the dealer is displaying a five or a six. If you have a soft seventeen or less you should hit and you can even hit a soft 18 when the dealer is displaying a six or higher.

You should stand when you have more than seventeen as long as the dealer doesn't have a high card. In addition to these rules for playing soft hands, pairs need special attention as well.

Some pairs never get split, these include pairs of tens, fours and fives. Other pairs always get split, these include eights and Aces. Others may or may not be split depending on the situation and your preferences.

Knowing these basic Blackjack rules can help you succeed much more easily and consistently. You should also take into account the environment you're in and the table you choose to play at to improve your success.

You want to keep an eye out for drunk players and for slow players, either of which can limit the fun action and can provide questionable decisions that affect your game as well.

You should not accept the dealer's offer for insurance unless you have been counting cards and know the exact odds of a situation.

Always keep track of your bankroll and don't sit a table with a minimum bet higher than 1/20th of your available chips. Higher than that and you can quickly run through your chips on a losing streak. Of course remember to enjoy yourself and respect everyone else at the table.

Online Multi Player Poker Etiquette

The growth of online casino gambling has spurred a whole new set of online multi player poker etiquette, which applies to all online poker players. And when it says all, it means from greenhorn novices to seasoned veterans, excusing nobody from following the unwritten rules of good behavior of online poker games.

These rules are there for good reasons. First, online casino games are the very essence of democracy – play anywhere, play anytime – that rules must be laid out to maintain order. Second, everybody deserves a good game filled with good spirits, which can only be had by all when rules of etiquette are followed. In other words, play nice, boys and girls!

Stick to Your Own Level

It can be a bummer when you are playing with somebody who is either below or above the levels of the play in progress. In the interest of fair play, choose the table that reflects your skills and expertise in the game.

If you are aiming for higher levels of play, you can always opt for the pretend games to hone your skills first. When you have gained sufficient confidence and cunning, you can then take on the big boys of online poker. Maybe you will not lose your shirt so easily this time.

Chat Nice, Please

Just like in table poker, you can also engage in amiable banters through the chat feature with the others. However, the unwritten rules of online multi player poker etiquette say that you must refrain from profanities, hate words, abusive tirades and the vulgar like. Even when you are on a losing streak, do not vent your frustrations on the other players. After all, it is not their fault you have made bad calls.

Speak the Common Language

As previously mentioned, online poker is the very essence of democracy. However, the problem of language does arise because everybody can play it, even when the players are separated by oceans. However, top online casinos will ask players to use the English language while playing. This is to avoid opportunities for collusions and unfair team play.

Let the Cards Speak for Themselves

You have to refrain from expressing comments on the hand, whether of pleasure or disappointment. Not only will you be providing online tells, you are allowing other players to directly infer conclusions about the chances of the others.

It is always better to confine your chats to lighthearted banters lest you let slip observations that can alter the game's outcome. Think of it as maintaining an online poker face.

Make Your Move on Time

Arguably, this is the most important part of online multi player poker etiquette simply because your co-players do not have all day to wait for you to make your move. There is also the fact that you are in different time zones.

Sure, you will be provided with time to think of intelligent hands but don't abuse it. If you must attend to something else, then it is better to just stop your participation in the game. Not only will you be considerate of other people's time, you will also be welcomed back in the future by your online poker friends. Just remember that online multi player poker etiquette follows table poker with just a few adjustments and you will be alright.
